Depending on the floor plan you have selected, you’ll also receive help choosing the options that will affect the framing of your home, such as the fireplace, patios, decks and the kitchen.
One of the most enjoyable parts of the homebuilding process is your selection of options and upgrades. This is your chance to
make your home reflect your style and choose the materials and finishes that will create lasting impressions, as well as enhance the
value of your home.
During your appointment, we will guide you step-by-step through selecting the finishing touches you’ll need
to personalize your new home’s interior, including: cabinetry, appliances, flooring (carpet, tile, stone, laminate and hardwood),
countertops, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, hardware and more. We offer the latest styles and samples, so you will
be able to make your new house your new home.
When your home’s framing has been completed, you will have a pre-drywall meeting to review the progress on your home. We will
walk through your home with you to confirm that it has been constructed correctly. We will also answer any questions you may
have regarding the next steps in the construction process.
Your new home is now complete and ready to be presented to you. At this informative meeting, you will become familiar with the details of your new home and learn valuable care and maintenance information. You will also have the opportunity to walk through your home to make sure the items identified during your previous walk-through have been addressed.
Shortly after
your final walk-through, you will have the last meeting in the buying and building process. – your closing. Here, you will complete
the paperwork that transfers home ownership to you.
